I have been quilting for over 20 years and enjoy using a variety of
techniques, creating my own designs from elements of traditional
patterns. My quilts have been exhibited both locally and nationally. Check out my quilt galleries.
Teaching quilting seems a natural extension of my passion and I find
it rewarding. Check out the lectures and classes
I offer.
Visit my books page
for further details on my books. My most recent book, Bargello Quilts with a Twist,
is now
available!. To order, click here.
A review of the book by Penny Haren in the Checker Newsletter may be seen
here. Please also note
my previous works - Creative Quilting with Kids, Patchwork and Quilting with Kids,
and Traditional Quilts with a Twist (Krause Publications, 2001,
2003 and 2006).

In June 2004, I went
to Mongolia as a volunteer, to teach quilting to needy women in the capital city of
Ulaanbaatar. I returned in June 2006 to help organize the first
International Quilt Show in Mongolia and again in 2009 to teach and visit
the new Mongolian Quilting Center. Check Mongolia
for more details and pictures. We raised $82,000 for our capital
campaign, and in September 2008 purchased a new Center! It has a
retail area with a shop front, a classroom, and a small office and
is in an excellent location opposite Bd's Mongolian BBQ on Seoul Street, 10 minutes walk from the heart of Ulaanbaatar.
